We are delighted to announce that Rosemere Cancer Foundation have been chosen by our members and staff to be our Charity of the Year in 2019!
Rosemere Cancer Foundation works to fund cutting edge equipment, vital research and other cancer services that are beyond limited NHS resources. It does this to bring world class treatment to cancer patients from throughout Lancashire and South Cumbria being treated at Rosemere Cancer Centre, the region’s specialist cancer treatment centre, and at another eight local hospital cancer units, including that at Chorley and South Ribble Hospital, across the two counties.
Chorley Building Society members voted for their favourite charity in our branches, and throughout 2019, the Society will be supporting Rosemere Cancer Foundation through various fundraising activities and events.
Kim Roby, Customer Service Director for Chorley Building Society, said, “We are delighted to be able to support such an amazing cause within our local community. The work Rosemere Cancer Foundation does is invaluable to people suffering from cancer and their loved ones too and it is our pleasure to be able to help in some way by raising funds for the Charity. We’re looking forward to the year ahead and all the fundraising activities which we have planned!
