Friday 28th September is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer. They ask people all over the UK to host their own coffee mornings and donations on the day are made to Macmillan.
And so to support this fantastic charity, today in our Key House branch we’re holding our very own ‘Bake-Off’ competition! We’ve got some cherry cheesecake brownies, cupcakes and vegan lemon drizzle cake –to name just a few!
Our High Street branch is holding a ‘Name the bear’ competition and they’ve made some amazing tasty treats for our members to try!
Chorley Building Society Chief Executive Steve Penlington said, “We’re thrilled to be able to offer support today in our branches – our staff have made some fantastic creations which we hope our members will treat themselves to whilst donating to this amazing cause!”
