Direct Mortgage Advisor Application Declaration

I confirm that I have obtained the applicant(s) authority for the Chorley Building Society to carry out a credit search, obtain details of their income and employment, take up references and check their identity as deemed necessary.

I also confirm that where a spouse or financial associate has been declared as part of the application the applicant(s) have been asked to inform the spouse or financial associate that their personal information will also be processed by the Society. 

I have explained to the applicant(s) that Chorley and District Building Society is a data controller of their personal information and provided a copy of our Privacy Notice. 

I have verified the customer(s) identity in accordance with identity verification requirements under the Money Laundering Regulations 2007 and the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. 

I have advised the customer on the types of valuation and surveys available and the associated costs. 

I can confirm that I have provided an accurate mortgage illustration and confirmed before proceeding to application that all applicants have received, read and understood the Your Guide to Our Mortgage Services document and the illustration.
