St Catherine's Hospice
Established in 1985, St Catherine's Hospice provides palliative care to patients that have reached a stage where their medical condition is treatable but not curable. The essence of St Catherine's is to provide help to improve the quality of their patients lives. The Hospice provides a support system to patients and their relatives at this difficult time.
With very high running costs of over £3.5 million, they only receive approximately 30% of this money from the NHS. This means over £3 million needs to be raised from the people of Chorley, South Ribble and Preston areas.
